Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional client care and ensuring timely resolution of customer inquiries
  • Accurately processing and arranging customs clearance for shipments from data sets, SOPs, duty books, web, or customs
  • Handling and processing various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and collaborating with participating government organizations (PGAs)
  • Maintaining and updating all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
  • Adhering to all international importing and exporting regulations
  • Collaborating with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver high-quality service
  • Processing organizational financier shipments
  • Managing distant filings and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Ensuring adherence to all service and operational standards
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, business, international trade)

  • No prior industry experience required, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Viewpoint, and office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* HS Certificate or GED

  • Industry experience in logistics, transportation, or international trade
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures
  • Knowledge of various software systems and reference materials
  • Ability to collaborate with clients, carriers, intermediaries, government agencies, internal staff, and management at all levels
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
