Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic customer support specialists to join our team for the tax season, which runs from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025. As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will work from the comfort of your own home, providing support to customers via phone, chat, or other communication channels. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues efficiently and effectively, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert support to customers, answering questions, and resolving issues related to tax preparation and filing
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, displaying empathy and understanding
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously, and meeting productivity goals

Essential Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and concepts (preferable)
  • Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to display empathy and understanding
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in relevant operating systems and software environments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling change and meeting productivity goals
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Previous experience working in a customer support role, preferably in a tax preparation or financial services environment
