About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the primary customer interface for inquiries, handling incoming phone calls and providing exceptional service to our members. You will inform and educate, serve as a member advocate, and build trust in our abilities, being the voice of the customer. By utilizing established best practices, attending ongoing training, and leveraging resources and tools, you will serve as an expert to help navigate the complex world of insurance. Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to respond to and resolve customer issues
  • Research customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues
  • Elevate sensitive customer requests when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Comply with State and Federal regulations and mandates, staying current on policies and procedures required to support the customer and ensure compliance
  • Remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)
  • Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length

Preferred Qualifications

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
