Job Summary
As a part-time remote data entry specialist, you'll be responsible for selecting, packing, and shipping orders, as well as troubleshooting problems and ensuring product quality. You'll work in a variety of areas, including merch, make-on-demand, customer returns, Prime Now, and general fulfillment. This role requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key duties may include:
- Receiving and putting away inventory
- Getting customer orders ready and packing them up
- Loading boxes into trucks for shipment
- Using scanners to read bar codes on products
- Viewing prompts on screens and following the direction for some tasks
- Troubleshooting problems
- Ensuring product meets quality requirements
- Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and working at heights up to 35 feet. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
Physical Demands
As a part-time remote data entry specialist, you'll need to be able to:
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Push utility carts up to 60 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
- Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Work Environment
Our warehouse is climate-controlled, but temperatures can vary between 60 F and 90 F in some parts of the building. On hot days, temperatures can be over 90 F in the truck yard or inside trailers. We also provide hearing protection if you need it, as the noise level can get loud at times.
