To support this critical work, we are building an Inbound Pharmacy Service team and are seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our overnight shift, working from the comfort of their own homes in Illinois.

Job Overview

In this vital role, you will be the primary point of contact for our specialty patients, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of their medications. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment, where no two calls are ever the same. Typical calls will include prescription refills, order status updates, and insurance coverage questions. Your goal will be to provide empathetic and personalized support, resolving patient concerns on the first call whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from patients, addressing their questions, concerns, and issues in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding prescription refills, order status, and insurance coverage
  • Resolve patient complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner, escalating complex cases to senior team members as needed
  • Utilize computer systems and software to access patient information, update records, and process orders
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pharmacy staff and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in customer service, with a minimum of 12 months of experience working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. You should also have:

  • 6+ months of high call center experience, with proficiency in Windows, Microsoft, or other applications
  • A verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide personalized support
  • Ability to work in a remote environment, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
  • Must live within 75 miles of Mount Prospect, IL

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 6+ months of experience handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone
  • Healthcare work experience, with familiarity with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions
  • Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is between $17.02 and $27.16 per hour, depending on experience and location. As an arenaflex employee, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
