As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling property and casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. Work Schedule:

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST, with rotating Saturdays with your team. Saturday hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This flexible schedule allows you to balance your work and personal life while delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.

What You Will Be Doing:

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal
  • Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer
  • Counseling policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance
  • Making appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes
  • Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC
  • Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
  • Providing quotes on endorsements as requested
  • Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as a liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies
  • Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up with the company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner
  • Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
  • Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from the member/customer
  • Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

* High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment

  • Property and Casualty insurance license required
  • Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
