Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to work with our Transportation Analytics crew, assisting customers in navigating complex data sets to make informed decisions. As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work with large, messy, and disparate datasets, conducting ad-hoc analyses to inform critical business decisions. You will also develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to quickly inform essential business decisions
• Create ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table
• Develop data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
• Engage with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis and establish credibility
• Analyze stakeholder needs and partner with them to share relevant information, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product teams on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
• Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks made for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier detection)
• Document your processes and share your expertise with your peers, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
• Creativity with a User Experience basis to create impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
• Business operations fluency, with the ability to understand and root cause business problems, and a Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
