[Remote] Cyber Threat Anlayst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence on emerging cyber threats. This role supports proactive strategies, incident response, and risk mitigation across the organization, providing thought leadership to Information Security Leadership and Cyber Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Proven structured analysis experience or education
  • Strong understanding and ability to develop and assist in building a threat program
  • Strong knowledge of cyber threat practices, groups, tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Strong knowledge and ability to apply the intelligence cycle
  • Knowledge of cyber threat operational frameworks (Cyber kill-chain, MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Knowledge of cloud security and emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of penetration testing principles, tools, and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
  • Strong ability to timely communicate verbally or in writing the threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies/recommendations clearly and effectively to leadership
  • Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate across levels of the organization
  • Proven ability as a self-starter, able to work both independently and within teams to drive results
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols and network security methodologies
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
  • Understanding and applied experience with process frameworks; NIST CSF, ISO
  • Understanding of IT policies and standards
  • Strong critical, investigative, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills

Skills

  • Proven structured analysis experience or education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Degree, Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant information security or threat intelligence experience
  • Strong understanding and ability to develop and assist in building a threat program
  • Strong knowledge of cyber threat practices, groups, tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Strong knowledge and ability to apply the intelligence cycle
  • Knowledge of cyber threat operational frameworks (Cyber kill-chain, MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Knowledge of cloud security and emerging technologies
