Role Overview

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring a favorable experience for all stakeholders. Your key duties will encompass addressing customer inquiries, processing medical and prescription claims, and providing accurate information to patients regarding their prescriptions and pharmacy offerings. You will also respond to medical and pharmaceutical billing inquiries promptly and professionally, while assisting patients in navigating medical insurance verification and exploring payment options to fulfill their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle customer and patient inquiries with empathy while processing medical and prescription claims.

  • Offer accurate information to patients regarding their prescriptions and pharmacy offerings.
  • Respond to medical and pharmaceutical billing inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist patients in navigating medical insurance verification and explore payment options to fulfill their requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to resolve issues and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and claims processing.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

Qualifications

  • Understanding of medical benefits, medical insurance, and prescriptions is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, or communications) is preferred.
