Consignment Analyst I

OrthAlign, Inc. is a growing medical device company looking for a Consignment Analyst I. This entry-level position is responsible for managing consigned inventory, performing monthly reporting, and developing key metrics dashboards while collaborating with various departments to enhance consignment operations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Field Inventory (consigned instrument sets and units)
  • Develop and communicate processes and procedures to control and ensure efficient utilization of field inventory
  • Perform regular annual audits and reconciliation of inventory held at customers and distributors
  • Develop and provide regular reporting and metrics of field inventory utilization
  • Evaluate field inventory levels and utilization; provide recommendations on optimal inventory levels
  • Partner with sales management distributors to analyze and redeploy assets
  • Review, research, investigate and resolve field inventory discrepancies and disputes related to transferred, returned, lost or damaged inventory
  • Produce regular department reports for internal and external groups
  • Publish key metrics Dashboard for the department
  • Serve as backup for Customer Master Data maintenance
  • Responsible for overseeing loaner program
  • Accountable for set turns utilization and reallocations

Skills

  • Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented, positive, 'can-do' attitude with appropriate urgency and tenacious follow-up
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member as well as independently
  • Excellent attention to detail, producing high quality output appropriate to broader context
  • Flexibility and strong organization skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Applies sound judgement when making decisions and communicating with peers and management
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience involving customer contact and resolution of customer difficulties is essential
  • ERP experience, preferably in Expandable
  • Experience developing and transforming a processes and procedures to drive efficiencies and improvement
