Associate, Research

Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm that provides a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment, and wealth management services. They are seeking an Associate in Research to design and enhance metrics for performance tracking, guide analysts with client targeting strategies, and conduct data analytics to provide insights for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the metrics and reporting for Research analyst performance tracking
• Guide Research analysts with client targeting and client engagement strategies by consolidating and analyzing large data sets
• Conduct data analytics to distill information into clear summaries and strategic insights for senior management
• Develop requirements and manage delivery for management data platforms
• Use Python to automate and streamline data process and emails generation
• Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives for the Research COO team
• Collaborate with team members and cross-divisional stakeholders in the US and overseas

Skills

• Requires a Master's in Marketing Analytics, Finance, or a related field
• Requires one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) year as a Data Analyst or a related role
• Requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: SQL
• Requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: Python
• Requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: Excel
• Requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: VBA
• Requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills: Data cleaning
