Mental Health Therapist II - Licensed Preferred

The Mental Health Therapist II will provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services to support individuals in their recovery journey, ensuring proper documentation and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well as individual, couple, and/or group psychotherapy
  • Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated
  • Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve
  • Facilitate the coordination of services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with WellPower standards
  • Participate in team/department meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions as required
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services field required
  • Licensed or within 6 months of licensure preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in mental health or human services preferred
