Key Responsibilities:

As a customer support representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to American Express cardholders via phone, email, and chat, ensuring that their inquiries are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Assisting cardholders with account inquiries, billing questions, and resolving technical issues, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Educating cardholders on American Express products, services, and benefits, showcasing your expertise and passion for delivering exceptional support.
  • Investigating and resolving cardholder concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Documenting all interactions accurately and efficiently in our customer relationship management system, maintaining a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer support delivery, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous customer service experience in a remote or call center environment is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
