[Remote] Principal Consultant- Oracle Population Health

Oracle is a world leader in cloud solutions, and they are seeking an experienced Consultant to help design and implement Oracle Health Population Health solutions for federal agencies. The role involves leveraging healthcare technology expertise to streamline deployments and improve health equity across various government health systems.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your expertise in healthcare technology and business processes to support our federal clients while focusing on streamlining cloud-based population health deployments
  • Consult on population health workflows, local site education, drive solution provisioning and have regular client interactions
  • Focus on creating standardization across the federal program and have ample opportunities for applying process improvements where necessary
  • Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement
  • Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs
  • Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices
  • Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements
  • May act as the team lead on projects
  • Effectively consults with management of customer organizations
  • Participates in business development activities
  • Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects

Skills

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
  • 4+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Population Health and/or Oracle Health product(s)
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects
  • U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
