System Summary:

We're seeking a highly energetic and results-driven Senior Data Science Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Hunt and Suggestions Examination group, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform our product recommendation strategy. You will work closely with a high-performing team of experts, AI engineers/data scientists, and product managers to drive business outcomes and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities

• Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestion algorithms
• Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve
• Develop new tools that enable us to be more efficient and productive
• Work closely and build effective relationships with our product, design, and AI partners
• Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization

What You'll Need:

Investigation or Information Science experience:

A strong background in data analysis, machine learning, or a related field, with experience working with web-based businesses.

SQL skills:

Proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.

Python skills:

Experience with Python and popular data science libraries, including Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib.

Trial planning and statistical analysis:

Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis to drive business decisions.

AI and machine learning:

Familiarity with AI algorithms and methods, including decision trees, random forests, and deep learning.

Communication and collaboration:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to working with partners.

Business acumen:

A solid understanding of business principles, scientific methods, and technical skills, with the ability to think critically and drive outcomes.
