They are looking for an entry-level Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to work on site characterization and remediation projects, gaining valuable field and office experience in environmental consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Work on site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients
  • Gain valuable field experience with environmental sampling techniques and subcontractor oversight
  • Balance field work with office tasks such as data interpretation and visualization, quantitative modeling, report writing, and coordinating field work
  • Ensure environmental compliance, environmental management, and health and safety while working on diverse projects

Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or preferred), Geology, or Environmental Science
  • 0-2 years of experience within environmental consulting or related field
  • Ability to travel for field projects up to 50-90% of the time
  • United States Citizenship required
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER certification or the ability to attain this certification
