Job Overview

As an Inbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for addressing the needs of inbound callers according to established call flows and work processes. Your primary goal will be to achieve first-call resolution, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective solutions to their queries. You will work closely with internal partners, referring issues as needed, and maintaining a high level of professionalism while working within documentation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address inbound customer calls, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Work within established call flows and work processes, ensuring compliance with accepted coverage guidelines and government regulations
  • Refer issues to internal partners as needed, including claims, provider searches, and enrollment issues
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of caller interactions, adhering to Quality Assurance Guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date on call handling resources, completing mandated knowledge checks and reviewing documentation regularly
  • Meet production and adherence standards, working overtime or flexible schedules as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service, easing abrasion between members and plans, and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • 1-year previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience using dual monitors, multiple applications, and phones simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage time effectively
  • Accurate keyboard skills, with the ability to enter data at a required speed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare background or experience working in a related field
  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
