Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Broadcasting Operations and Customer Support

At arenaflex, we're a non-profit association of 24 public radio and public television stations in the state of Florida, dedicated to serving the citizens of Florida through traditional television and radio broadcasts, digital platforms, and community engagement activities. We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity, playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcasting operations and providing exceptional customer support.

Job Summary

The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering data, communicating status reports, and troubleshooting issues related to underwriting messages, affidavits, and billing verification. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will be a team player who can adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering data of weekly/monthly affidavits, verifying that all spots aired properly per station based on the duration, media type, cost, and date/time slot.
  • Timely communicating weekly/monthly status reports to appropriate arenaflex staff for follow-up.
  • Generating weekly/monthly reminders to request affidavits for billing verification.
  • Efficiently tracking receipt of affidavits and filing in the affidavits monthly folder.
  • Reporting monthly to arenaflex staff, the status of the verification of the prior month's billing.
  • Researching prior month(s) performance oddities and/or billing issues.
  • Pulling billing reports for reconciled affidavit.
  • Creating invoices in QuickBooks.

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to the above functions, the Data Entry Specialist will:

  • Work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Adapt flexible work processes to meet demands of the work week.
  • Display customer-friendly service to all stakeholders.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Accurately evaluate and input volumes of detailed data.
  • Communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
  • Use a computer and computer keyboard.
  • Learn and operate traditional software and specialty broadcasting software.
  • Work in a dynamic, deadline-driven business environment.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Work various hours including some nights, weekends, or holidays.

Required Qualifications

* Two years equivalent, relevant, work experience.

Desired Qualifications

* Experience in broadcasting sales or traffic operations.

  • Experience in data entry.

Physical Demands
