McGivney, Kluger, Clark & Intoccia, P.C. is a civil defense litigation firm specializing in high-stakes cases. They are seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Syracuse, NY team, offering opportunities for professional growth and involvement in complex legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Attend depositions and court appearances
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and management
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, client communications, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial with opportunity for second chair trial experience if desired
Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the State of New York
- 1 to 5 years of experience (salary commensurate with experience - range $95,000-$140,000)
- Superior analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong work ethic and commitment to client service
- Previous Civil Defense Litigation experience preferred
