Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
- Taking orders, answering questions, and handling complaints in a courteous and empathetic way
- Maintaining a positive, professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations
- Engaging in active listening, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing angry customers as needed
- Providing customers with product and service information, as well as making recommendations for products or services that may complement their needs
- Maintaining current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment
- Verifying medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services
- Following policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance
- Meeting or exceeding department metrics while providing excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 6 months of relevant customer service experience (preferably in a healthcare or medical equipment setting)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- A customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
- Attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process and manage customer information
- Good data entry skills, with proficiency in computer systems and strong typing skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
Preferred Qualifications
