Primary Duties & Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and third-party stakeholders through heavy phone contact, email, and correspondence
- Processing policyholder requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information
- Maintaining department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management
- Demonstrating excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with tact and professionalism
- Utilizing strong decision-making skills to analyze situations and make logical conclusions
- Working in a fast-paced environment with regular and predictable attendance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
- At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
- A life and health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired
- Excellent customer service background and good phone skills
- Excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and professionalism
- Demonstrated mathematical abilities and basic PC skills
- Ability to type at least 30WPM
- Pay differential available for Bilingual employees (Eng/Span)
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
- Ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position for which you're applying
Physical Requirements
As a remote work-from-home opportunity, you'll need to:
- Have a dedicated home office/room or quiet and designated space to work in
- Have a smartphone and high-speed internet (20mbps upload) before starting
- Be able to work 40-hour workweek with regular and predictable attendance
- Be able to handle high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism
