Job Description: The English Content Reviewer, Editorial will be responsible for reviewing English-language content across products to ensure it meets standards for quality, accuracy, and adherence to Amplify’s guidelines and mission. They will synthesize feedback from various partners and make recommendations that reflect product and enterprise goals. The person in this role will use their judgment, business insight, and nuanced language and communication skills to ensure English-language materials follow company-wide style guidelines. The position is highly collaborative in nature, and will partner with stakeholders across the organization as well as with external advisors and subject matter experts.

This is a contract position.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review and provide feedback on content in various stages of development (concepting, drafting, final product) to ensure consistency across products, accuracy and appropriateness of content, and content’s adherence to company guidelines.
  • Organize and oversee feedback from internal and external reviewers; with input from the Senior Reviewer, Editorial, synthesize feedback into coherent, consistent recommendations for revision.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to resolve and communicate key decisions around style, formatting, and content parameters.
  • Advise on standard terminology and style for key phrases or terms within the suite of English-language products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in education, English, or related field
  • 3+ years of editorial experience on English-language materials
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple perspectives and determine best practices for ensuring product excellence
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in related field
  • Experience working in educational publishing
