What You'll Do

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and develop data solutions that meet business needs
  • Developing and maintaining ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other data integration tools
  • Designing and implementing data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and other data storage solutions
  • Developing data visualizations and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and other business intelligence tools
  • Participating in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and sharing knowledge and best practices with the team
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, attending conferences, workshops, and online courses to enhance your skills and expertise

All You'll Need for Success

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Informatica PowerCenter
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Informatica PowerCenter
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Favored Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on Azure

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data warehousing and ETL
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and predictive analytics
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks
