Key Responsibilities
As an Email and Chat Billing Associate for the DEAF Community, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service via email and chat, addressing billing-related queries and concerns
- Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and resolving issues
- Staying up-to-date with company policies and procedures, as well as industry developments and best practices
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Be a member of the Deaf Community and be fluent in Jamaican Sign Language
- At least 3 CXCs or City & Guilds, including English Language (Preferred)
- Valid Government ID (Passport, Driver's License, National ID)
- TRN
- NIS
- Not currently attending school
- Flexible to work any 5 days and any 8 hours on site (Ward Ave)
- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with email and chat software
