Health and Wellness Intern
Accessia Health is a nonprofit organization focused on health sciences and patient advocacy. They are seeking a Health & Wellness Intern to gain hands-on experience while contributing to special projects and community engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to special projects that advance Accessia Health's mission and strategic initiatives
- Create content, resources, and presentations to support patient and community engagement
- Attend team meetings and engage in one-on-one discussions with staff to explore different organizational roles
- Support outreach, wellness programming, and educational campaigns
- Present completed work to Accessia Health leadership for review and feedback
Skills
- Enrollment in a qualifying internship or capstone course (health sciences or similar)
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in public health, healthcare policy, or patient-centered care
