Job Summary

We're seeking an Experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team, working from home in Nebraska or the Omaha metro area. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary customer interface for inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to our members. You'll be responsible for handling incoming phone calls, researching customer information, and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

* Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail

  • Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues
  • Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary
  • Complies with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing, thus creating a very dynamic environment
  • Accountable to remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability

Requirements

* High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)

  • Availability for training 12-14 weeks in length
  • Reliable internet service provider and dedicated, distraction-free workplace
  • Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus

What We Offer

* Competitive salary: $39,520 annually

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits effective the 1st of the month following start date
  • Full-time (40 hours per week) position
  • Opportunity to work from home in Nebraska or the Omaha metro area
  • 9-12 weeks of live virtual training: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Central Time Zone) Monday to Friday
  • Flexible work schedule: 8.5 hour shifts between 7:30am-6:00pm (Central Time Zone) Monday to Friday
