Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information across all arenaflex platforms. This will involve working with automated data feeds and manual data entry to guarantee the delivery of precise, up-to-date, and engaging sports information. You will also play a key role in helping to transform data into compelling stories, using your analytical skills to identify key trends and insights that will captivate our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports information across all arenaflex platforms, including television broadcasts, digital media, and social channels

• Work with automated data feeds and manual data entry to guarantee the delivery of precise, up-to-date, and engaging sports information
• Create and maintain a comprehensive understanding of arenaflex's role in fueling our digital and television products
• Conduct thorough reviews of your own work and that of others, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Contribute to the development of new products, initiatives, and drives across the newsroom, working closely with newsroom leaders to coordinate full-time and part-time staff
• Identify potential issues and propose solutions, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Play a proactive role in working with colleagues to develop or refine production processes
• Participate actively in team and office meetings
• Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance
• Stay up-to-date with current office policies and procedures

Required Capabilities

* Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and game rules

• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information for arenaflex's digital and television products
• Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments
• Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom

Preferred Capabilities

* 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, ideally in media

• Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes
• Working knowledge of arenaflex products and productions
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Experience leading or training a team
• Ability to speak and write Spanish
• Experience using social media in a business or news context

Required Education

* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
