Key Responsibilities:

As an Enterprise Data Storage Administrator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of enterprise data storage conditions
  • Executing and maintaining enterprise backup and data assurance technologies
  • Proficiently managing and monitoring reporting stages and software
  • Executing predictive storage planning methods, based on industry principles and best practices
  • Collaborating and communicating with application, database, server, and other technology teams on engineering, and design choices, to ensure suitable storage technology and design
  • Exhibiting strong organizational skills to adapt and prioritize tasks in a constantly changing work environment
  • Contributing clear and concise documentation for both daily and ad-hoc tasks
  • Providing specialized support and counsel on complex tasks like installation, setup, and backup/restore activities for all systems
  • Performing code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems
  • Applying general knowledge of Windows/Linux operating system concepts to interact with various stages effectively

Essential Qualifications:

* General knowledge of data storage or related field(s)

  • Demonstrated experience in virtualization solutions
  • Hands-on experience working with hardware (Servers, LAN/SAN Switches, storage, etc.)
  • Familiarity with current and cutting-edge data security technologies
  • Knowledge of NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
  • Operating system framework organization skills (both Linux and Windows)
  • VMWare concepts and organization

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ability to provide clear and well-organized documentation

  • Strong organizational skills and perseverance in completing assigned tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Active involvement in hardware life-cycle management
  • Broad investigating and execution monitoring skills
  • Ability to work autonomously under broad guidance

Education:

* Four-year degree from a certified institution in Software Engineering or a related discipline (a combination of training, work experience, and education may be considered)
