Business Development Representative - NYC

Cyera is a leading data security platform focused on reinventing how businesses secure data in the cloud era. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to expand their user base and qualify potential B2B sales prospects through various outreach methods, including phone, email, and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Use Salesforce and other sales tools, build lead lists, craft outbound messaging, and share results with the larger sales team
  • Prospect into accounts within your territory and find leads to qualify for your Enterprise Sales counterpart
  • Initiate sales conversations with key decision makers at target companies
  • Manage inbound inquiries and lead management
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Cyera Data Security Platform, industry trends, and competition
  • Strive to exceed targets for daily activities and monthly and quarterly pipeline goals
  • Conduct high-level conversations with mid and senior-level executives in the security space
  • Learn, get better, hit your numbers, and raise your game–every day
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Work out of Cyera’s office (NYC)

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, especially when it comes to complicated topics
  • Results-oriented, metrics-driven track record
  • Excited to build a long-term sales career
  • Coachable and ready to learn concepts
  • Strong organization and time management skills with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player with attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality, leveraging your creativity, insight, and intellect to get the job done
  • You're an overachiever. You never quit, never take no for an answer, and ultimately succeed in everything you do!
  • Ideally, experience as an SDR/BDR or inside sales professional in a B2B SaaS technology company
  • Cloud/data security industry experience a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and SalesNavigator preferred
