Job Overview: We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Procurement System Specialist to support and enhance one of our critical organizational business/procurement systems. The successful candidate will assume a lead role within Electronic Systems’ Centralized Procurement Team for the management of the integrated data control system supporting blanket PO administration (PAT {Part Add Tool} system). This position will act as the primary expert and play a vital role in leveraging technology to manage, optimize, and support the PAT system and associated processes to drive efficiency while focusing on cost-savings/avoidance opportunities. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of standard procurement processes, excellent data analysis skills, and experience with procurement software. The candidate selected for this role will be tasked to bridge the gap between procurement strategy and system functionality to deliver insights that contribute directly to the company’s bottom line. This role will be full time remote. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the PAT system integration with our supplier managed inventory program.
  • Functional ownership of the PAT system, interfacing with IT and other functions on system requirements, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • Perform source selection, price analysis, and process contract awards through the PAT system and ensure compliance to documented command media.
  • Diagnose and resolve system or process related issues efficiently.
  • Work cross-functionally with Category Management, Procurement, Engineering, Compliance, and Quality to ensure the business needs and strategies are being met.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on performance metrics related to the PAT system and continuous improvement of the process.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiencies in the PAT system workflow and contribute to the development and implementation of improved procedures and system documentation.
  • Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics on KPIs utilizing tools such as MS Excel, Tableau, or internal databases.Participation and support of global commodity negotiation projects.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain analysis within a manufacturing environment is preferred. This includes, but not limited to, buying/planning, price analysis, familiarity with FAR and DFAR requirements, and category management exposure. Skills: Experience working with electronic component distribution supply chain. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially strong Microsoft Excel skills (including functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) is highly desirable. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Knowledge of data analysis tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal oversight. Able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Procurement). Experience in negotiations. Security clearance not required. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
