Job Summary We are currently hiring for the next training program for our entry-level Call Specialist position! As a Part-time Spanish Bilingual Remote Call Center Agent, you will take phone calls for funeral homes across the United States and Canada. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to caller inquiries, and ensuring that messages are delivered accurately and in a timely manner. This is a part-time role, with a schedule consisting of four 8-hour shifts per week, including weekend and holiday hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, place, and transfer telephone calls following ASD Standards and protocols
  • Interact with customers via online web chat following ASD Standards and protocols
  • Record and deliver all messages in an accurate and timely manner
  • Forward client questions and complaints to appropriate staff members
  • Maintain a friendly and compassionate attitude while assisting emotional callers
  • Understand and respect client and caller confidentiality Essential Qualifications Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous call center experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear speech
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software and basic technical troubleshooting
  • Ability to remain impartial when dealing with conflict or emotional callers
  • Visual acuity to quickly navigate an abundance of on-screen account information
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while constantly operating computer equipment Language Requirements
  • Fluent in Spanish and English Technical Requirements

  • Candidates must pass an assessment to evaluate transcription, spelling, grammar, and comprehension skills. Work Environment and Requirements Work from Home Requirements
  • A home computer set-up will be supplied by the company for use during employment.
  • High Speed Internet with a wired ethernet connection with a minimum Download speed of 10 Mbps, a minimum Upload speed of 8 Mbps and maximum Latency speed of 40ms is required. Test your speed at: speed.cloudflare.com. Satellite internet will not be compatible with our system. Wi-Fi cannot be used for work purposes.
  • A designated workspace that is quiet and distraction-free during your work shift is a must. Schedule and Benefits Schedule
  • Part-time role, 32 hours/week
  • Schedule consists of four 8-hour shifts per week, including weekend and holiday hours
  • 2nd shift: 2:55pm-10:55pm Monday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday (off Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
  • 3rd shift: 10:55pm-6:55am Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday (off Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Earn an effective pay rate of $22-27 per hour, including a Weekday base rate of $19.00 per hour, Weekend rate of $28.50* per hour if on time (*time-and-half), Triple-time Holiday Rate, and Performance and Attendance Bonuses
