We are currently looking for a patent attorney, patent agent, or patent agent trainee with a strong technical background in engineering. Opportunity to work fully remotely as a patent attorney from anywhere in the USA. There is an abundance of challenging and sophisticated work here, thus you will be exposed to a diverse array of computer science, software, and computer engineering related technologies. In particular, there is a strong need for someone with an in depth understanding of complex artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) modeling systems. The AI/ML applications span a wide variety of industrial and commercial areas (e.g., cloud computing, neural networks, robotics; telecommunications, medical devices and surgical systems, automated manufacturing and machine design systems, semiconductors, control systems, finance, cybersecurity, natural language processing (NLP), autonomous vehicles, transportation, etc.). The focus of the work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence; Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues). Patent Attorney Qualifications:

• Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
• Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
• Must have at least 1 year of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
• Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
• Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
• State bar and USPTO bar

Patent Agent Qualifications:

• Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
• Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
• Must have at least 1 year of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
• Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
• Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
• State bar and USPTO bar
• USPTO bar

Patent Agent Trainee Qualifications:

• Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
• Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
• Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
• Willingness to pass USPTO bar with a full commitment to becoming a licensed Patent Agent
