Role Summary

The Lighting & Shooting Cameraman / Editor will be responsible for producing high-quality, long-form interview content with global figures for IMI’s international media division. Based in London, the role combines expertise in multi-camera filming, professional lighting, and editing to deliver broadcast-standard content. The position requires creativity, technical precision, and extensive international travel across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film interviews, b-roll and live events using professional video equipment.
  • Edit and script video stories for digital publication, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with editorial, production and social media teams to enhance audience engagement through video.
  • Contribute multimedia elements including still photography, captions, headlines, or short texts where required.
  • Operate effectively in the field, including in high-pressure or breaking news situations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in video production or journalism for a reputable news or media organization.
  • Proven expertise in multi-camera interview filming and professional lighting setups.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (knowledge of motion graphics or drone videography is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of digital storytelling formats and audience-focused content.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
