Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and troubleshooting needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs.
  • Providing exceptional customer service over the phone in a virtual or 'brick and mortar' call center environment.
  • Taking ownership of customer issues in order to provide confident resolution.
  • Maintaining a quiet, uninterrupted workspace and an organized desk area.
  • Meeting technology requirements, including a personal computer, broadband internet connection, Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system, valid antivirus software, and a wired USB headset with microphone.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
  • Bookkeeping/accounting expertise to include AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, etc.
  • Customer service experience and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment.
  • Strong ownership of customer issues in order to take control of the situation and provide confident resolution.
  • Tech savvy and avid computer user.
  • Ability to communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor.
  • Quiet, uninterrupted space
  • Organized desk area
  • Personal computer (no tablet)
  • Broadband internet connection, at least 10 Mbps download speed
  • Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
  • Valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date
  • Wired USB headset with microphone
  • Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple’s Boot Camp utility.
  • No VPN; computers may not connect to internet services through a private VPN during Working Solutions working time. Examples: NordVPN, McAfee VPN, etc.
