Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Educating plan benefits, answering questions, and resolving issues based on incoming telephone member contacts
  • Utilizing compliant documentation standards to ensure accurate and timely resolution of member inquiries
  • Providing empathetic and member-centric service that exceeds our members' expectations
  • Ensuring that every member is shown respect, kindness, and all questions are thoroughly answered and resolved
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex member issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated ability to be empathetic and compassionate in your interactions with members
  • Ability to apply patience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills
  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience
  • Or, equivalent military experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting

  • Education in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A base salary range of $17.00 - $27.16 per hour
  • A $1000 sign-on bonus and an additional $2000 bonus after 180 days of employment
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
