Day In The Life

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:

  • Order Entry: You'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient orders into our system, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and that orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: You'll provide exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare partners, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Medication Dispensing: You'll work closely with our pharmacists to ensure that medications are dispensed accurately and efficiently, and that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Quality Control: You'll participate in quality control activities, such as reviewing patient records and identifying areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:

  • Certification/Licensure: You'll need to be certified/licensed/registered as a pharmacy technician or meet the requirements of your state law.
  • Experience: You'll need at least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Education: You'll need a verifiable high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Prior Experience: You'll have prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • PTCB National Certification: You'll be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
  • Education: You'll have a degree in a related field, such as pharmacy technology or healthcare administration.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $30.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
