Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our big data and cloud application development team. As a senior engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers
- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and workflows using various tools and technologies
- Work with our data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets arenaflex's high standards for quality and maintainability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in big data and cloud computing
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on big data and cloud computing
- Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Couchbase, and MongoDB
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Apache Flink
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
