Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Business Operations and Financial Insights team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives. Your expertise will help us optimize our financial models, streamline business processes, and make data-driven decisions that drive growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst on our team, you'll be responsible for:

• Building a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to our internal groups and business partners
• Supporting the coordination of high-speed projects that normalize and advance financial cycles across the organization
• Supporting internal business work processes, including administration costing, labor force management, and asset planning
• Working with different data systems and delivering ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, and decision-making
• Archiving work processes related to key cycles, data collection and maintenance, including tracking significant decisions and changes
• Collaborating with Data Architects and system designers to support documentation and execution of data set plans
• Building vital dynamic structures and writing scripts that help us automate and expand
• Gifted in refining insights from data and combining and making compelling storytelling for executive audiences
• Supporting Planning and Delivery Activities with impromptu demands from our partners

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data science, or a related technical field
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Accounting, Informatics, or Software Engineering
• Experience working with data and data control software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, Smartsheet
• Understanding of social data set plan and capability
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Proven self-starter with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Successful collaboration and time management skills
• Attention to detail, with the ability to step back and understand the bigger picture
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to work with design delivery teams to explore technical ideas
• Experience with Success, Smartsheet, or potentially AirTable

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Master's degree in a technical field
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, D3.js, or Matplotlib
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with agile project management methodologies
• Certification in data analysis, data science, or a related field
