Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Promoting and selling air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders
- Assisting with passenger check-in and load acceptance
- Interpreting authority's guidelines and requirements for domestic and international travel or shipment shipments
- Meeting and dispatching planes within set-up times
- Providing assistance to distressed passengers and clients
- Protecting company assets and revenue
- Ensuring a safe and secure travel experience for our customers
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language
- Bilingual language skills are required in some locations
- Valid driver's license, as required by local authorities
- Ability to pass FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Ability to work abnormal and/or prolonged hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work on a regular and timely basis
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or airline environment
- Knowledge of air travel regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
