Job Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support our blithequark+ product, marketing, and content curation teams. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analysis activities, including data collection, data preparation, and data analysis to build reports, tables, and charts
• Joining different data sets using SQL to aid in the everyday operations of the blithequark+ customer experience tracking project
• Collaborating with different teams to conduct research at blithequark, including communicating project objectives, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently prioritize, develop, and improve our data sets
• Building and maintaining relationships with research partners within the team and from different divisions of the company as well as external vendors
• Analyzing and preparing ongoing and ad-hoc reports involving quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy of blithequark+ and the blithequark Streaming Bundle
• Managing assigned projects, implementing quality assurance processes, and reporting assignments and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines
• Working with the Sr. Administrator and team to ensure that each outcome is strategically relevant and drives key direction
• Collaborating with the team and analytics groups within Snowflake and Databricks
• Maintaining excellent verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements
• Responding to basic data requests from internal clients
• Supporting the presentation of findings based on analysis conducted and contributing to related business discussions
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the SVOD and In-Home industry

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and 1 year of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract and combine original data sources
• Ability to extract data and combine with other data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business
• Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in a environment of tight deadlines and constant change

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience with data processing tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight)
• Experience with survey tools (e.g., Interpret, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Experience with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages
• A postgraduate degree in Market Research or Statistics
• Quantitative analysis background, either supplier-side or client-side
• Experience with analyzing survey data to extract meaningful insights
• Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy
