Job Summary
As an Experienced Engineering Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and making key decisions that impact our cross-functional partners. Your role will involve close work with code, technical details, and data, as well as collaboration with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML. You'll have the opportunity to define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects, create a multi-year roadmap, and lead the design and execution phases of software development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of engineers and make key decisions that impact cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
- Define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
- Create a multi-year roadmap and lead the design and execution phases of software development
- Oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry
- Discuss bugs and technical challenges in-depth and represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings
- Engage with external customers and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Drive complex, cross-functional projects and manage partnerships while staying hands-on technically
- Make clear, data-driven decisions rather than relying on intuition
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Foster collaboration and support your engineers in a diverse, global team
Minimum Qualifications
* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints
- Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects and manage partnerships while staying hands-on technically
- Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team and fostering collaboration and supporting your engineers
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of engineering management experience
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
- Experience with API development and working with API consumers

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

- Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
