As a Customer Account Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to: * Analyze sales tax exemption certificates for accuracy and apply approved certificates in our state-of-the-art customized software. * Collaborate with a cross-functional team to provide exceptional service and support to our customers. * Develop your analytical and communication skills, working with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and internal departments. * Contribute to the success of our business, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Account Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Analyzing sales tax exemption certificates for accuracy and ensuring compliance with tax guidelines.
  • Contacting customers to obtain missing or incomplete documentation, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Applying approved sales tax exemption certificates in our state-of-the-art customized software, ensuring seamless processing and accurate calculations.
  • Calculating and processing sales tax credits based on exemption documentation, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team to provide exceptional service and support to our customers, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred. * Customer service experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of sales tax exemption processes and procedures. * Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus, with excellent communication and analytical skills. * Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and customized software applications.
