Key Responsibilities

As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone or written correspondence, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
  • Assisting with insurance verification processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Maintaining organized filing systems for medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers and insureds regarding claims status and additional documentation that may be required.
  • Utilizing financial software to manage patient accounts and track payments.
  • Ensuring that all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date in accordance with company policies.
  • Working closely with team members to improve customer service processes and enhance overall client satisfaction.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous call center experience in a healthcare or insurance setting (preferably).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes, including ICD coding, CPT coding, state and federal regulations, and financial software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications
