POSITION SUMMARY The Data Products Analyst plays a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making for our clients and across the organization. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to deliver and support business operations, focusing on democratizing data and building robust analytics solutions. The Data Products Analyst will develop client-facing data solutions, enhance internal analytics, and streamline processes to drive efficiency. ‎ WHAT YOU'LL DO Serve as an expert for client-facing Data Analytics and Reporting: BI systems and reporting: Enablement, development, and maintenance (Veritone Proprietary BI platform, PowerBI, Tableau is a plus). ETL tools: Enablement, compliance, development, and maintenance (Airflow, Python,Rivery). Data warehousing: Design, development, and maintenance of data models and structures (Snowflake). Data pipelines: Build, monitor, and optimize data pipelines for efficient data flow (Airflow, AWS Lambda is a plus). Support internal analytics needs for engineering and operations. Take active role in improving data analytics processes and workflows Perform peer-reviews of reports and queries from the team-members Enable cross-functional collaboration: Promote a data-driven culture by educating and supporting teams in using analytics tools and data effectively. Improve operational efficiencies: Democratize data access to enable self-service analytics and data-driven insights. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities related to analytics, data structures and processes. Maintain and enhance a centralized dictionary of data sources, processes, and data flows. Optimize data processes to reduce complexity and improve performance. Document data workflows and processes for business continuity and transparency. Adhere to data governance requirements and best practices. Identify and address technical debt within data pipelines and systems. Share knowledge and best practices for efficient code and architectural principles, actively take part in cross-team education on data analytics best practices Manage and democratize data: Develop and maintain workflows to prepare and transform data for analysis. Transform data into actionable insights for business stakeholders. Understand data relationships, flows, and their impact on key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop and maintain operational dashboards to monitor business performance. Enhance and expand the data warehouse and pipelines to support the organization's analytical maturity. Champion usage of latest AI and LLMs for data analytics: Help define AI-enabled processes for data analysis Strategic planning and support: Contribute to the analytical framework for strategic decision-making across business functions. Ensure successful data operations: Deliver projects based on priorities set for the Data Analytics team. Actively learn new and emerging technologies related to data analytics, BI and AI. ‎ WHAT YOU'LL NEED Preferred Qualifications: B.S. or B.A. required. 2+ years experience as a data analyst or a Power BI developer required. Proficiency with other BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Observable desired. Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow, dbt . Solid experience with ETL processes, data structures, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake. Experience with cloud data warehouses/data lakes and integrations. Experience with LLM integrations for data analysis is a big plus. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions is a plus. Must have the ability to learn and adapt to new data tools and technologies. Strong problem-solving skills for complex data challenges. Experience with coding data visualizations and data visualization frameworks like D3.JS, Vega-Lite . Critical thinking. Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. High-energy, self-starter, team-first, positive attitude. This base pay is for illustrative purposes only and will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
