Position Overview The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist is responsible for creating, executing, and overseeing digital marketing and social media strategies for both our organization and our clients. Engaging target audiences, boosting brand visibility, and achieving business objectives will be key goals. This role involves digital strategy, creating compelling content, managing social media channels, managing client strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and staying abreast of industry trends to optimize strategies effectively. The Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist collaborates cross-functionally (ex. graphic design, content writing) to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals and brand messaging while adhering to industry regulations and guidelines. They also cultivate partnerships with influencers and other stakeholders to expand reach and credibility. Overall, the Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist is a creative and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, adept at navigating the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain client-facing strategy documents, content calendars, and campaign plans with clear next steps and ownership.
  • Manage client communications for assigned accounts (status calls, expectation-setting, recaps, and internal coordination with design/content teams).
  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing and social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage target audiences across various platforms, including but not limited to social media platforms, websites, partner sites, etc.
  • Create engaging and relevant content tailored to each platform, including posts, videos, reels, graphics, and interactive elements.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies for assigned clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to inform strategies across social, email, and paid media.
  • Build, launch, and optimize digital advertising campaigns (for ex. Meta, LinkedIn), including targeting, creative direction, and performance tracking.
  • Develop conversion funnels and recommend website/landing page improvements to strengthen lead generation and user engagement.
  • Report on campaign and channel performance using analytics tools and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Identify new opportunities, tools, and emerging trends to continuously refine and evolve strategies for better results
  • Oversee and maintain all social media platforms. This includes daily monitoring, content posting, active engagement with the audience, and timely responses to comments and messages.
  • Analyze key metrics and use insights to optimize content, campaigns, and strategies to improve performance and drive business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on social and website performance using analytics tools, providing regular insights and recommendations for improvement based on analytics.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other relevant partners to expand our reach and enhance brand credibility.
  • Continually research potential influencers to partner with, either a paid relationship or an exchange.
  • Stay informed about client industry regulations and guidelines related to marketing and ensure compliance in all activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging platforms, and incorporate them into our strategy as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members.
