About the Role

The Operations Support Analyst Intern role is a 12-week internship that will run from May 21 to August 9, 2024. You will be working closely with the Ground Operations and Business Activities teams, contributing to projects that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth. This internship is an excellent chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, develop your professional skills, and build a network of contacts within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Support Analyst Intern, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks across different teams. Here are some of the key responsibilities: Ground Operations: Perform research and analysis to support informed decision-making on operational issues. Develop and present findings and recommendations that demonstrate a clear understanding of business priorities and operational impact. Identify areas for improvement in operational performance and business processes. Conduct periodic internal surveys or audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Collect, organize, visualize, and interpret data to inform business decisions. Support project teams and present to leadership. Business Activities: Support the outreach team with research, sales tools, CRM, Salesforce, and dashboard reporting. Create and distribute communications and updates to the Southwest Business Group and customers. Provide customer service to the Southwest Business Group and customers by responding to and managing customer and sales requests. Assist in creating and delivering onboarding and training materials for the team. Participate in ad-hoc sales projects, promotions, and planning. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good oral, written, and presentation skills. The capacity to multitask and meet tight deadlines. While not mandatory, having experience in data analysis, customer service, or sales will be an added advantage. Proficiency in data-oriented programming languages and visualization software is also desirable.
