Job Summary:American Airlines is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Flight Attendants. As a Flight Attendant, you will be the face of the company, ensuring that passengers have a safe, enjoyable, and comfortable journey. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to the overall positive experience of our passengers. Key Responsibilities:

• * Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
• * Provide exceptional customer service by attending to passenger needs, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
• * Conduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate emergency procedures to passengers.
• * Serve food, beverages, and other amenities to passengers during the flight.
• * Respond promptly and efficiently to in-flight emergencies, following company protocols.
• * Maintain a clean and organized cabin environment.
• * Collaborate with the flight crew and ground staff to ensure smooth operations.
• * Complete necessary paperwork, including reports and passenger documentation, when required.
• * Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• * High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
• * Certification from a recognized aviation training program (or willingness to complete the program).
• * Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• * Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
• * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• * Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• * Physical fitness and ability to perform duties such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and walking through the aisles.
• * Willingness to travel frequently and be away from home for extended periods.
• * Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
• Experience:
• * Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• * Previous experience in the aviation industry is an advantage, but training will be provided for those new to the field.
• Working Hours:
• * Full-time position with flexible schedules.
• * Flight attendants may be required to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• * Ability to work on a rotating schedule, including long-haul flights and overnight stays.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• * Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
• * Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• * Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and emergency protocols.
• * Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and circumstances.
