Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate / Cashier at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers warmly and providing assistance with their inquiries and purchases, ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
  • Operating the cash register and handling cash transactions accurately, following proper cash handling procedures to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Processing sales transactions using the POS system, including returns and exchanges, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively sell and upsell items to customers, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Ensuring the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, maintaining a high level of store appearance and cleanliness.
  • Assisting in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing stockouts.
  • Providing excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls and addressing their concerns or questions, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and communication.
  • Supervising junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in their roles, and contributing to their development and growth.

Skills and Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

As a Customer Service Associate / Cashier at blithequark, you will enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
