Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation, Content Group. As a Data Analyst, you'll apply advanced analytical methods to drive business decisions, investigate client behavior, and anticipate content engagement. You'll work closely with our content team to develop and implement data-driven strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to communicate insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced investigation methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions
- Investigate client behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Anticipate content engagement to inform securing decisions and optimize content delivery
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve content commitment and maintenance
- Test marketing methodologies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical direction
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and AI procedures
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
- Experience in data visualization and communication, with a strong understanding of data storytelling principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to complex problems
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in media and entertainment, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Skills and Competencies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to complex problems
- Excellent data visualization and communication skills, with a strong understanding of data storytelling principles
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and AI procedures, including choice trees, regression, clustering, and more
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
