Sr React Developer - Remote
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr React Developer - Remote for a contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Jacksonville, FL. This role will be remote. Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions using ReactJS, Redux, D3 and NodeJS to enable the firm's Experience applications.
- Responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products.
- Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
- Lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
Required Skills:
- Related Bachelor's degree or related work experience
- 5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
- Strong proficiency in React (hooks, functional components, state management with Redux/Redux Toolkit)
- JavaScript/ES6+ expertise with modern development patterns and best practices
- Experience refactoring legacy code and managing technical debt
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with browser DevTools
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
- Proficiency using MERN and MEAN Scaffolding tools
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Flexible team player
- 3-5 years professional full-stack development experience in enterprise applications
- Node.js/Express.js backend development with RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with Material-UI (MUI) component library and responsive design
- Proficiency in Redux state management (actions, reducers, middleware, thunks)
- Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Knowledge of JWT authentication and security best practices
- Unit testing experience with Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library
- Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work with large codebases and understand complex business logic
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based development
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Exposure to AI Technologies and be able to utilize and apply
Preferred Skills:
- Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc
- Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
- Experience with mobile design (native and mobile web) a plus
- Experience with Foundation a plus
- Experience with web accessibility guidelines and requirements a plus
